RX Radio is a radio station– run by and for children - at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The initiative aims to create a platform for communication between hospitalised children, their families, and the health services by providing patients with the skills and support to produce and broadcast radio programmes across the hospital. In addition, we are a project initiated under the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital Facility Board.

Dr Thozama Siyotula is medical doctor whose main focus is paediatric surgery. She is also the president of the South African Paediatric Surgical Trainees Association.
Siyotula is practicing at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, (University of Cape Town) and wants to see all children in South Africa, regardless of socioeconomic status, being able to access surgical care.

Born & raised in Gugulethu Emihle Mpofana is a female artist who is also a director and songwriter known as eguup started music at the age of 12 influenced by her father who was local singer, Emihle debuted with a single called Who Am I. She speaks about the things she's gone through and what she wishes to achieve in near future. She released DIAMOND PIECES II which is a series of her music EP with the lead single "My Side".

Hailing from the coastal city of Durban, Majozi is a proudly South African musician who wears his heart on his sleeve – quite literally. He has tattoos dedicated to his faith and to his mother - two very defining aspects of his life, both of which have inspired the music he writes. He burst onto the scene in 2013 with his catchy debut EP, Marvelous Light, before signing to before signing to Universal Music South Africa in 2014. 2023 sees MAJOZI being at the top of his game with regards to treating fans to new music. 2 June 2023 sees the release of his third new single for the year, entitled I'LL BE THERE. The single comes after the release of 'Safe In The Sound' in March, and 'Honest' in April.

Nzayo is Comedian and Public speaker who studied at Rhodes for BA and MA at the University of Nelson Mandela and is a IsiXhosa Language Practitioner at Western Cape Department of Education. This year during this year's Two Oceans Marathon he ran under the RX Radio banner & helped raise funds for the station.

Kumele Mngoma is an impressive young individual who has made waves in the world of pageantry. Last year November, she had the honour of being crowned Miss Jnr Teen Western Province. She has used her title to give back to the community and better herself as an individual. At just 15 years old, she has achieved the distinction of being a finalist in the Miss Teenager South Africa competition.
