RX Radio is a radio station– run by and for children - at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The initiative aims to create a platform for communication between hospitalised children, their families, and the health services by providing patients with the skills and support to produce and broadcast radio programmes across the hospital. In addition, we are a project initiated under the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital Facility Board.

Bumble Books was established in 2012 and focuses on early reader picture books for the South African market and provide an international platform to showcase South African children’s writers and illustrators. Bumble Books works with a dedicated team of outsourced publishing professionals to produce books of world-class quality – and as a result they have won many awards. In celebration of our birthday, we had a bit of a catch-up with Robin, talked about our partnership, and had a small competition!
