RX Radio is a radio station– run by and for children - at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The initiative aims to create a platform for communication between hospitalised children, their families, and the health services by providing patients with the skills and support to produce and broadcast radio programmes across the hospital. In addition, we are a project initiated under the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital Facility Board.

Vandag het ons vir Johandie De Kock, een van die Two Oceans Maraton atleete. Johanide is n’ rekenmeester wat van RX Radio gehoor tydens ons #saverxradio-veldtog. Kort daarna het sy besluit om 'n veldtog van haar eie te begin #KeepRXRadioOnAir–Alhoeval die Maraton amper hier is, is ons seker Johanide saam met die ander hardlopers die RX Radio-vlag hoog sal vlieg op die 15de April.
