RX Radio is a radio station– run by and for children - at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The initiative aims to create a platform for communication between hospitalised children, their families, and the health services by providing patients with the skills and support to produce and broadcast radio programmes across the hospital. In addition, we are a project initiated under the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital Facility Board.

[Via WhatsApp] Jesse is chatting to Gloria Veale who hails from the Cape Flats and is a beautiful mom of two. At the age of 12, she was involved in a gang related incident. At the age of 14, she became an anti-apartheid activist and got involved with prison for opposing apartheid. She then became a business woman at the age of 29 and has been a part of the ministry in the community for 16 years.
