RX Radio is a radio station– run by and for children - at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The initiative aims to create a platform for communication between hospitalised children, their families, and the health services by providing patients with the skills and support to produce and broadcast radio programmes across the hospital. In addition, we are a project initiated under the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital Facility Board.

Lethu Matyipu is one of the top achievers at Joe Slovo Engineering High School, which was named Cape Town’s "most improved school" after achieving a 99.3% pass rate in the 2024 matric exams. Lethu joins us in the studio to discuss this remarkable accomplishment.
